Manufacturers State Affairs Program

The MSAP is a cooperative program providing NAM members an opportunity to network on state-based policy issues through information sharing and coordinated advocacy to identify similar trends across industries and borders and increasing the odds of public policy changes. The program supports NAM’s corporate members’ priorities by tracking trending issues across state lines and recruiting participation among all our association members to network, identify best practices, and provide sources to advance common interests.

MSAP’s key strategies include the following:

  • Identify critical emerging issues at the state level that may affect manufacturers nationwide.
  • Strengthen interaction and understanding between state- and federal-based policy issues.
