Manufacturers’ New Election Center to Educate Voters and Candidates
NAM to Inform and Motivate 12 Million Manufacturing Voters in Crucial Election Cycle
Washington, D.C., 03/26/14 - As part of the progression of the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) advocacy program, NAM Senior Vice President of External Relations Ned Monroe today unveiled the NAM’s 2014 Election Center. The Election Center will provide a comprehensive resource to inform and motivate the manufacturing voter base. The Election Center will include a “How-To” guide for building a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) program, a voter guide to issues and a resource for political news.
“The NAM is committed to making 2014 the ‘Year of the Manufacturing Voter.’ We are changing the way that advocacy is done in Washington, and the 12 million men and women in manufacturing are essential to promoting a strong manufacturing agenda. Manufacturers and their employees will have a prominent voice during this election, and the Election Center will serve as an important tool in educating them about candidates who support pro-growth, pro-manufacturing policies.”
