State Associations Group Logo

The NAM State Associations Group (SAG) serves as the voice of the NAM in the states. It consists of 48 independent state manufacturers associations, business and industry associations and state chambers of Commerce located in 47 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

SAG members play a critical role in the NAM’s grassroots efforts to advance policies that will enhance business growth and job creation. The SAG's aim is to facilitate communications among affiliates and enhance relationships the NAM and other associations have with national issues, federal legislators and government agencies.

Such communication provides business with an early-warning system and timely information on emerging federal legislation and regulations; and a local communications mechanism to rally the business community in varied coalitions to effectively communicate business views to Congress and the executive branch.

The SAG members have access to all the NAM member benefits, from policy issue information and advocacy to member discounts on business services.
