The NAM's Corporate Finance and Management Committee focuses on a wide range of issues impacting corporate governance and financing including shareholder and proxy statement issues, executive compensation, insurance, SEC regulations and implementation of the Dodd Frank legislation. Active issues include derivatives regulation, Terrorism insurance and pay ratio rules. Manufacturers are invested in issues like liability, accountability  and financing rules because manufacturers want to represent the best of what businesses in the United States can be – protecting their employers and placing themselves in position for long term success and growth.
