The NAM is the strongest and most aggressive voice here at home and internationally for multilateral free trade agreements that will produce significant new market access for U.S. Manufacturing and Trade products in world markets. Manufacturers know that multilateral free trade agreements are an effective way to produce new trade opportunities for American products and eliminate barriers to trade.

The NAM is playing a central role with U.S. negotiators and their technical staffs to ensure that the Doha Round produces significant new manufacturing and trade opportunities for American manufacturers. We continue to push for effective enforcement of world trade rules to eliminate unfair subsidies and other actions that are distorting world trade and to avoid weakening our own trade laws.
