Great news for NAM members who want to save money on prescription drugs

The NAM has entered into exclusive relationships with two national prescription drug coalition purchasing groups through Aon Consulting. On this Web site you can learn more about these coalitions, including pricing, discounts and exclusive services available to NAM members. You can also determine your eligibility and request a cost-savings analysis to see if the coalition is right for your situation.

1. Medco Coalition for Companies with 10,000 or more employees

If you have 10,000 or more employees or retirees participating in your prescription drug program, you are eligible to join the Medco coalition. Yes, you’ll get preferred pricing – lower than the rates that Medco offers its other clients – but you’ll also have access to specially negotiated programs and resources that are available to you as a NAM member. 2. Caremark Coalition for Companies with 175 to 9,999 employees

If you are self-insured, and have between 175 and 9,999 employees or retirees participating in your prescription drug program, you are eligible join the Caremark coalition. You’ll get preferred pricing on your prescription drugs – lower than what Caremark charges other clients. You’ll also get access to services and resources that are only available to you, as a NAM member. 3. NAM Discount Drug Card Available to Companies Not Qualified for Coalitions, or for part-time employees, retirees and their dependents

You don’t need to join the coalition for the NAM Discount Drug Card. Whether or not you join the coalition, you can obtain a NAM discount card for prescription drugs for your employees, retirees and their dependants.
