The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) works diligently to educate policymakers about the impact regulation has on manufacturers’ bottom line. Overregulation costs the economy trillions of dollars, stifling economic growth and job creation.
The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed ozone standards would cost 7.3 million jobs by 2020 and add $1 trillion in new regulatory costs per year between 2020 and 2030, according to a study released by the Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI.
