James Peppe, senior regional manager, joined the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in 2002. Based in Houston, Texas, Mr. Peppe serves as a liaison for NAM member companies headquartered in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Puerto Rico.
Prior to joining the NAM, Mr. Peppe worked as a private consultant, specializing in government affairs and media relations. He has an extensive background in politics and government at both the state and federal level, having served on many campaigns and as staff for Representative Bill Frenzel (R-MN), Senator Rudy Boschwitz (R-MN), Governor Arne Carlson (R-MN), state Senate Minority Leader Dick Day and several state legislators. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University.
