Pete Piper, national director, joined the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in 2003. Based in Chicago, Ill., Mr. Piper’s primary responsibility is to recruit new members to the NAM, and he focuses generally on companies located in the Midwest, Southeast and on the East Coast.
Mr. Piper has extensive experience in sales, marketing, management and communications and has worked closely with large and small companies. He has a broad understanding of the best ways to interface with government regulatory agencies through his management of a large regional airline’s operations at O’Hare and Midway Airports in Chicago. He obtained both his M.B.A. and his bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University.
