Timmons: Trump Administration Greenlighting Far More Than a Pipeline

Manufacturers Applaud Signing of Final Keystone XL Permit

Washington, D.C., March 24, 2017 – National Association of Manufacturers President and CEO Jay Timmons issued the following statement in support of President Donald Trump’s signing of the official permit to begin work on the Keystone XL pipeline:

“With this swift action, the Trump administration is giving the greenlight for far more than a pipeline. Today’s permit means Americans move even closer to building a monumental energy infrastructure project. That’s energizing news not only for the manufacturers who supply the parts but also for all who depend on reliable sources of North American energy to fuel their operations. President Trump understands that energy infrastructure means jobs and paychecks for tens of thousands of families across the country. It’s a good day for manufacturing; it’s a good day for America.”
