NAM Statement on Retirement of AF&PA’s Donna Harman

Timmons: “America’s manufacturing workers have had a tireless champion in Donna Harman”

Washington, D.C. – National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) President and CEO Jay Timmons released the following statement on the retirement of American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman:

America’s manufacturing workers have had a tireless champion in Donna Harman, and with her retirement, the manufacturing industry and the business association community will lose one of our most effective advocates. Respected by government and business leaders alike, Donna has proven herself to be a consensus builder, a leader of integrity devoted to the success of our exceptional nation. Embodying the best traits of an executive, she led by example, and I am fortunate to have been among the many people she took the time to mentor. Manufacturers are indebted to Donna for her many years of service, particularly as president and CEO of the AF&PA and as a past chair of the National Association of Manufacturers’ Council of Manufacturing Associations. We wish her and John the best as they begin a new chapter later this year.
