This Is Our Shot Project

Manufacturers in the United States have once again developed safe and effective vaccines to get our nation to health—and counter the virus that is harming our communities, our businesses and our people. But we can only get through this pandemic if Americans—and manufacturers—roll up our sleeves and get armed against COVID.

“This Is Our Shot” to stop the spread of COVID-19 with a combination of getting a vaccine, wearing a face mask, practicing social distancing, avoiding crowds and regularly washing hands. The NAM and The Manufacturing Institute have developed a full-scale campaign to take aim at vaccine hesitancy and support manufacturers to get through this pandemic.

A Plan To Get America to Renewal

Back in April 2020, the NAM dispatched its “American Renewal Action” plan to key leaders–at the time, the most comprehensive plan from the business community to help address immediate needs and get our nation on a path to recovery and renewal. It followed our “COVID-19 Policy Action Plan Recommendations” from March. While this leadership empowered us to advance around five dozen policy accomplishments for manufacturers since April, including many ways to bolster small manufacturers, more work remains to be done on the action plan. And the NAM is relentless in our efforts to finish the fight against COVID-19.
