Emerson’s Krishnan Named to Manufacturers Association Board of Directors
Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Manufacturers announced that Ram Krishnan, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Emerson, has been named to the NAM Board of Directors. Krishnan will join the NAM Board to help the manufacturing industry remain competitive and advance the association’s key initiatives.
As COO of industrial software and technology company Emerson, Krishnan leads global supply chain and international operations, mergers and acquisitions and information technology for the global Fortune 200 company. Krishnan brings deep operational knowledge and decades of leadership experience to his board role with the NAM, which provides resources to the nation’s manufacturers, through its news and insights channels and partnerships with the Manufacturing Leadership Council, The Manufacturing Institute and the Innovation Research Interchange.
Krishnan and Emerson support the world’s most essential industries, including power, life sciences, food and beverage, home comfort and discrete manufacturing, as they optimize operations to drive greater productivity and reach vital sustainability goals.
