Manufacturers Call for Stability of Leadership

Washington, D.C. – National Association of Manufacturers Board Chair and Trane Technologies Chairman and CEO Mike Lamach released the following statement in response to yesterday’s acts of violence at the U.S. Capitol building:

“Manufacturing is foundational to our American way of life—job creation, economic prosperity and the security and well-being of our nation. It’s essential to the men and women of the manufacturing community that we uphold and preserve the strength of our democracy. Manufacturers, and all members of the National Association of Manufacturers, take pride in building a brighter future every day.

“As leaders, we believe it’s time to move past divisiveness and accelerate economic recovery, job creation and the health and well-being of all people as we move forward as a nation. We call for stability of leadership as we complete the peaceful transition of power.”
