Manufacturers in Nevada account for 4.89% of the total output in the state, employing 4.20% of the workforce. Total output from manufacturing was $8.11 billion in 2018. In addition, there were an average of 60,000 manufacturing employees in Nevada in 2019, with an average annual compensation of $68,193.69 in 2018.

Nevada Export Facts

Manufacturers help to drive Nevada’s economy, with $8.38 billion in manufactured goods exports in 2019. That same year, $2.57 billion in exports was with our free trade agreement (FTA) partners. This helps create jobs in the state, and 17.40% of its employment stemmed from exports in 2011. Small businesses comprised 87.00% percent of all exporters in Nevada.
